Yu-Gi-Oh! World Championship 2025 Celebration Event!

Summoning all Duelists!!

While the world’s top Duelists take each other on in Paris, France for the highest honours the Yu‑Gi‑Oh! TRADING CARD GAME has to offer,  join us as we celebrate the 2025 Yu-Gi-Oh! World Championships with a tournament of our own! This way, even across the world, Duelists can be apart of the Yu-Gi-Oh! World Championship weekend! While we normally hold our local tournaments on Sunday, this week you’re invited to this celebration as well as our locals Sunday were we will be live streaming the Championship events, time zone’s permitting*

Participants will also have the chance to win a set of Yu‑Gi‑Oh! TCG World Championship 2025 Celebration Event Promo Cards, presented in a black envelope with the World Championship 2025 logo emblazoned in gold to commemorate the special event. This year’s Celebration Event cards are two Yu‑Gi‑Oh! World Championship 2025 Secret Rare promotional cards: Fracas, le Guerrier Magique and Force de Miroir (French versions of Breaker the Magical Warrior and Mirror Force). To commemorate this year’s World Championship being held in Paris, France, the cards will be the TCG version (French language) and will feature a special World Championship 2025 logo! Promo’s will be raffled amongst all participating players, but the commemorative envelope will be won by the 1st place Duelist!

Date: Saturday, August 30th
Doors Open/Registration Begins: 12:00pm
Gameplay Starts: 1pm
Format: Advanced Constructed
Tournament Structure: Swiss style tournament based on attendance. Best-of-3 Matches, 45 min rounds. Total amount of rounds are dependent on amount of players.
Prizes: 3 packs per player will be entered into the prize pool, to be split amongst top performing players. (Each pack has a $2.50 store credit value)
– 1st place gets black envelope containing both World Championship 2025 commemorative promo cards. 
-All participants will receive 1 OTS pack at the start of round 2 and entered into a raffle to win World Championship 2025 Secret Rare promotional cards: Fracas, le Guerrier Magique and Force de Miroir.

Duelists will receive 3 packs for entry as well as being added to the raffle for the Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG World Championship 2024 Celebration Event Promo Cards, featuring Doomcalibur Knight and Swords of Revealing Light. The winner of the event will also receive the same prize envelope!

RULES QUESTIONS: At any point in the game, a player may call a judge for assistance with a ruling or interaction. The judge will not be able to issue you any advice about the game state or what decisions you should make.

TRADING: While trading is fine, please note that buying/selling items with anyone other than Cool Stuff Games staff (or soliciting to do so elsewhere) is against both our rules and the law. Doing so may result in both the buyer and the seller being removed from the property, both being permanently banned from returning and/or the police being notified.

Cool Stuff Games also reserves the right to limit the amount of space being occupied by any one individual while trading, and does not allow the use of suitcases, handcarts, luggage carts, etc. to be used for the purpose of transporting excessive amounts of trade stock.

CODE OF CONDUCT:

• Outside Food and Drink is welcomed. However, we do ask that guests clean up after themselves and keep food and drink away from games in progress.
• Horseplay, roughhousing, rude/disrespectful/discourteous behavior, and foul language are not permitted.
• Report any lost or unattended item(s) to a Cool Stuff Games staff member.
• Most importantly, HAVE FUN!
