Pokémon TCG Destined Rivals Prerelease #2 at CoolStuffGames – Miami

Pokémon Trainers, be on high alert! The nefarious Team Rocket is setting its latest plan into motion, and heroic Trainers are racing to stop it. Choose a side, assemble your allies, and battle boldly in our Pokémon: Scarlet & Violet—Destined Rivals Prerelease! Spaces are limited so pre-register in-store TODAY!

Entry: $30 (plus tax)
Tournament Structure: 40 minutes for deck construction followed by 3 20-minute Swiss-style rounds
Prize Support: 3 Pokémon Scarlet & Violet – Destined Rivals Booster Packs to every participant (distributed at the end of the event)

This is a sealed format tournament with 40 minutes for deck construction followed by three 20-minute rounds, swiss style. Each participant will be given a Destined Rivals Build & Battle Box containing 4 Destined Rivals Booster Packs and an evolution pack featuring key cards from current and prior sets to build a deck of 40 cards. Also included is 1 of 4 alternate art promo cards.

The standard 6 prize cards are reduced to 4 in this format. Each participant will receive 3 more Destined Rivals booster packs upon completion of the 3 round event as prizing; not participating or departing before the final round of swiss will forfeit these 3 packs

PRE-REGISTRATION IS AVAILABLE IN-STORE; While we will have day-of registration available for this event, we strongly recommend securing your spot by pre-registering in-store. Please arrive early on the day of the event to confirm your pre-registration and ensure your participation! If you are looking to register on the day of the event you must be present to register and pay; phone calls and holds for friends that are on route will also not be accepted.

RULES QUESTIONS: At any point in the game, a player may call a judge for assistance with a ruling or interaction. The judge will not be able to issue you any advice about the game state or what decisions you should make.
TRADING: While trading is fine, please note that buying/selling items with anyone other than Cool Stuff Games staff (or soliciting to do so elsewhere) is against both our rules and the law. Doing so may result in both the buyer and the seller being removed from the property, both being permanently banned from returning and/or the police being notified.
Cool Stuff Games also reserves the right to limit the amount of space being occupied by any one individual while trading, and does not allow the use of suitcases, handcarts, luggage carts, etc. to be used for the purpose of transporting excessive amounts of trade stock.
CODE OF CONDUCT:
All food & drink must be kept off the tables except for where signage says otherwise.
Horseplay, roughhousing, rude/disrespectful/discourteous behavior, and foul language are not permitted.
Report any lost or unattended item(s) to a Cool Stuff Games staff member.
