Blast off into Magic‘s space-fantasy set! Join us from July 25th-27th for the Edge of Eternities Prereleases! At the edge of the known Multiverse, a star system teeters on the brink of disaster. Chart a course through Sothera and explore distant planets, wield dazzling magic, and wage war with alien factions.
This prerelease includes a special format! Players will have the option to purchase a play booster box of the Edge of Eternities set, and use it to construct their own 60-card commander deck from the packs they open (with additional basic lands of course.) The normal deckbuilding rules of Commander apply, but players may use two Commanders if both Commanders are two or fewer colors! After constructing their decks, players enter four player Commander pods and participate in casual commander games dependent upon the number of total players.
Each player will receive an Edge of Eternities promo pack for participating in the first pod that they enter, upon completion of the game. Then the winner of each pod will also receive 4 Play booster packs of Edge of Eternities. In addition, the players with the 4 best Win-Loss ratios* at the end of the event will receive an exclusive promo! Take to the stars, just steer clear of the unstable supervoid at the center of the system—unless you choose to harness the vast chaotic energies within!

*We ask all participants to arrive for registration in a timely manner. These are very popular events with a high number of participants. Registration starts 1.5 hours before event start and cutoff time is 10 minutes before advertised start times. Any late arriving players who are not registered by cut off time can choose to enter with round 1 loss and/or less deckbuilding time. Format: Sealed Booster Commander (Prerelease) Capacity: 12 Players max Tournament Structure: 90 minutes for deck construction followed by four 60-minute ‘best-of-1’ pod rounds. Prizes: 1 Edge of Eternities Play Booster pack for 1st pod game + 4 Play Booster packs per pod win. Promo card dependent upon standings (distributed at the end of the event)

RULES QUESTIONS: At any point in the game, a player may call a judge for assistance with a ruling or interaction. The judge will not be able to issue you any advice about the game state or what decisions you should make.
TRADING: While trading is fine, please note that buying/selling items with anyone other than Cool Stuff Games staff (or soliciting to do so elsewhere) is against both our rules and the law. Doing so may result in both the buyer and the seller being removed from the property, both being permanently banned from returning and/or the police being notified.
Cool Stuff Games also reserves the right to limit the amount of space being occupied by any one individual while trading, and does not allow the use of suitcases, handcarts, luggage carts, etc. to be used for the purpose of transporting excessive amounts of trade stock.
CODE OF CONDUCT: – Outside Food and Drink is welcomed. However, we do ask that guests clean up after themselves and keep food and drink away from games in progress. – Horseplay, roughhousing, rude/disrespectful/discourteous behavior, and foul language are not permitted. – Report any lost or unattended item(s) to a Cool Stuff Games staff member. – Most importantly, HAVE FUN!
