Magic: The Gathering $500 Cash Pioneer Regional Championship Qualifier
Calling all Planeswalkers!
Join us Saturday July 16th for our $500 Cash Pioneer Regional Championship Qualifier!
Wizards is returning to competitive play by giving players a chance to earn a qualification for the Regional Championship at Dreamhack Atlanta.
Players will receive a “Lava Spike” Promo just for attending and Top Players will receive a “Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx” Promo.
Prove you have what it takes to earn your spot at the Regional Championship!
*Wizards account required for Registration*
*This Event is Competitive REL so Decklists will be required*
Entry Fee: $20
Registration Starts: 11:00 AM
Gameplay Starts: 12:00 PM
Format: Pioneer Constructed
Tournament Structure: Swiss style tournament with Rounds & Top Cut based on player attendance.
Minimum Players to Launch the Tournament: 8
– 1st Place will receive a Foil “Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx” Promo Card & an Invite to the Regional Championship
– Top 8 will receive a Non-Foil “Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx” Promo Card
– All Participants will receive a Non-Foil “Lava Spike” Promo Card
– We will raffle off Standard Promo Packs each round!
– $500 Cash will be shared among the Top Players!
Example Prize Support:
1st: $200 Cash
2nd: $100 Cash
3-4: $50 Cash
5-8: $25 Cash
RULES QUESTIONS: At any point in the game, a player may call a judge for assistance with a ruling or interaction. The judge will not be able to issue you any advice about the game state or what decisions you should make.
TRADING: While trading is fine, please note that buying/selling items with anyone other than Cool Stuff Games staff (or soliciting to do so elsewhere) is against both our rules and the law. Doing so may result in both the buyer and the seller being removed from the property, both being permanently banned from returning and/or the police being notified.
Cool Stuff Games also reserves the right to limit the amount of space being occupied by any one individual while trading, and does not allow the use of suitcases, handcarts, luggage carts, etc. to be used for the purpose of transporting excessive amounts of trade stock.
CODE OF CONDUCT:
All food & drink must be kept off the tables except for where signage says otherwise.
Horseplay, roughhousing, rude/disrespectful/discourteous behavior, and foul language are not permitted.
Report any lost or unattended item(s) to a Cool Stuff Games staff member.
