Dungeons and Dragons – Thursday February 11, 2010

We will be having our next D&D night on Thursday February 11th (we’ll be taking the 4th off). We’ll be running will be the following adventures:

Crafts
DRAG 1-7 (RPGA#6024) – Dragon Coast Regional Adventure by Andrew Cowan, for characters of levels 1 to 4.
Westgate, the City of Coin, is a haven for all races and creeds. But now the Docks and Moonside districts hide something more sinister, an affliction that threatens to spread to all corners of the city if it is not dealt with in its infancy. With madness and agony the result, it is up to the adventurers to discover and eradicate the cause.

Finding Harmony
CORE 1-17 (RPGA#6033) – Core Adventure by Dave Guerrieri, for characters of levels 4 to 7.
A prophet and her followers are leaving Thesk and looking to start anew on their own. Can you and your comrades help protect them on their travels and aid them in finding a new home? And more importantly, are they harbouring a secret?

Start the New Year with Dungeons and Dragons

We’ll be running our first D&D night on the new year this Thursday, January 7th! We’ll have module East 1-5 Mole Hunt for levels 4-7, as well as Baldur’s Gate 1-1 Flames of Initiation and Core 1-2 The Radiant Vessel of Thesk for levels 1-4. The games will start at 7:00pm sharp, and we’ll be mustering starting at 6:45. See you here!

Next D&D Game Night is December 3rd

D&D Game Day – September 19, 2009

D&D turned out great today. We had 6 tables going throughout the day starting with a one hour game of build-your-own-adventure, giving people the chance to try making the story themselves. Afterwards the tables switched adventures around, allowing players to run the very games they had helped create. We then played Living Forgotten Realms from 3pm until 7pm and even a little later for a few of the tables.

Everyone got to keep their character sheets and figures, and Wizards of the Coast even sent us a case of D&D-themed Jones Soda.

“It was easier to judge the game when we had written it ourselves,” Angie said of her experience with building her own adventure. “It was a nice twist on the game.”

“I actually had more fun creating the mod than I did playing it,” Betty Wadsager added. “It was fun watching other people react to something we’d created. We definitely enjoyed ourselves today.”

And that is the whole point of Game Day.

Dungeons and Dragons Game Day – September 19, 2009

The Dungeon Master’s Guide 2 is out now and CoolStuffGames will be joining in the the world-wide celebration with D&D Game Day! We’ll be running a pre-generated character adventure from 10am until 2pm, followed by Living Forgotten Realms from 3pm until 7pm. Everyone who plays the pre-gn adventure gets totake home their character sheet and mini.

We will also be running a 10% discount on 4th Edition Dungeons and Dragons in the store (this Saturday only). Players will receive a sweet PC/NPC wet-erase Combat Tracker with the purchase of any D&D 4th Edition book (one per customer, store purchases only, while supplies last).
