Hey, my friends and I were hoping to start playing D&D, but as you can imagine, it’s a bit overwhelming. We were hoping that you would have some sort of beginner group we can join and learn the ropes of the game.
At the moment, unfortunately, we cannot afford the core books, so if we must bring our own, I’m sorry to say we can’t attend. We hope to be getting part-time jobs very soon though, and we hope to get the core rulebooks then.
So, just wondering if you have some sort of beginner’s group that we could learn the ropes in. (We played with the demo but it was hard to learn without somebody with knowledge of the game, etc. etc.)
You’re in luck. Cool Stuff hosts bi-weekly DND nights every other Thursday. Come by the store this Thursday (2/25) at 6:30 and you should be able to find more than a few people who could help you out. The group is very newbie friendly.
