February 11, 2012 by Andre · 3 Comments
We're proud to bring you the next level in Magic gaming at CoolStuffGames with the CSG Magic Tournament Series! Earn points for every magic event you participate in, leading up to a yearly grudge match between the Orlando and South Florida players! Best of all, it's FREE to join.
The new system will be analogous to the Planeswalker Points program:
You earn 1 point whenever you:
· Sign up for an event
· Win a match
· Win a draft
You'll earn 3 points when you:
· Top 8 our standard FNM/Top 4 our draft FNM
· You earn 3 points per match win, 1 point per drat
· 3 points for making the cut at a Saturday event
You earn 1 participation point per round in a given event just for signing up
All Saturday Magic events have a 2x modifier for all points accrued. Qualifying tournaments include any 8 man draft, any win a box, both FNM’s, any Saturday tourney and our Sunday standard tournament.
Seasons run from prerelease to prerelease. At the end of the current season the top 16 players will be entered into a free sealed event of the current format and will play in a tournament with a guaranteed prize payout of at least 2 boxes.
At the end of all 4 seasons throughout the year the winner of each of the seasonal tournaments will be qualified into the end of the year COOL STUFF CHALLENGE!
The top 4 from CSG Orlando and the top 4 from CSG South Florida will face off in a Cash-Guaranteed. The winner will be given the cash as well as the Cool Stuff Trophy which his/her respective store will get to keep for the entirety of the next year.
Signing up is easy - just ask any of our store associates the next time you come in. Spread the word - we'll see you here!
*Point distribution and prize payout is subject to change at the discretion of CoolstuffGames and will be announced either before the tournament or before the beginning of the next season.

You should make it 3 points whenever you 3-1 the draft. Many people that deserve it get screwed on breakers.
Don't listen to Bob he needs to win more
When do the points start? I haven't registered yet and actually did well at a standard FNM.
